My 15 Minutes of Fame Happened in 1996
When i was a kid I was devoted to all things Nintendo. Naturally, I had a subscription to Nintendo Power magazine. I actually attribute a lot of my love for drawing to this magazine. The artwork on the cover and on the interior pages always fascinated me. After several attempts, Volume 83, April 1996 finally answered my prayers.
There’s my envelope art on page 7! It was a primitive attempt at humor– a crossover joke featuring characters from very different games. Killer Instinct 2: Yoshi’s Island. If you need the irony explained to you, then congratulations you’re not a nerd.
