Rainbow Spray

I started this one last year, and then left it dormant because it wasn’t working. Last week I dug it back up and decided that huge parts of it needed to be-drawn. Sometimes it takes a year’s time to realize what you were doing wrong on a project.
I got the idea for this from a lake trip last summer. Blasting across the lake on my brother’s PWC (that’s personal watercraft) I looked back at the spray of water and noticed a rainbow. Somewhere between that event and opening up Photoshop, it morphed in to the image above. The final product is obviously not a self-portrait.
