Rogue

Sorry to bombard this blog with fan art lately. Most of the original work I’ve been doing lately is stuff I have to keep under wraps until release dates and printings.

X-Men: Rogue Fan Art

I had a conversation about Rogue with my girlfriend a little while back after she mentioned having dressed up as her for Halloween. We talked about how interesting the character and her powers were and of course I get the urge to draw her.

My last attempt at drawing Rogue was probably in my elementary school days when the old X-Men Saturday morning cartoon was still airing. I also studied my brother’s comics when I could (most of which were X-Men.) I later received a little ring-bound instructional book published by Marvel Comics as a Christmas gift. It was sort of an abridged version of “How to Draw Comics the Marvel Way” that you yourself could draw in. A set of pencils and markers were included. I still use many of the techniques that I learned in that silly little book all those years ago.

Wow, I didn’t mean for that to turn into story time.
